I know that I have more pictures of Christmas 2017 but I can't find them.  It was a crazy year this year.  We woke up to a major snow storm and they cancelled church. So we decided to surprise Grammy and Papa and head to Pocatello.  We probably should have stayed home because the roads were bad. We stayed Christmas day with them and everyone came over for presents and food. When we got home that night we were completely snowed out of the house.  There are a huge snow drift in front of the porch and you couldn't get into the front door.  All the boys grabbed snow shovels and started digging.  It was pretty cool to have that much snow on Christmas day. This year will be something to remember for sure.  I wish that I would have been able to show you pictures but my phone died and I lost those.

Haedon and his ducks are pretty funny to watch.  He should fill up their pool every few days but that usually doesn't happen.  He waits until it is pretty dirty but in his defense the ducks dirty the new water in about 5 mins. It is funny to watch him jump around getting everything ready and looking for eggs.  We are getting 6 to 8 eggs every few days.  It is nice not having to buy eggs at the store.  The only thing that is not something you want to do with duck eggs is hard boil them.  We tried that and Haedon said they weren't good, but we have done everything else and it doesn't taste any different for me.

Basketball

Haedon and Nash are play playing basketball this year.  It feels like we just move on from one sport to another. People say that I will look back and miss all this craziness and running from one game to the next but right now I feel like we could slow down a bit. We've been in sports since school started and we really have just begun. There is one thing that I love and it is watching the boys play it is just all the time before hand.  There have been some games and the same time and Carter is wrestling so we have to divide up and try to get to as many things as possible.  I really don't like missing them play. Nash is number 3 this year and Haedon is number 5. Next year they will be on the same team so that will be fun. Until next year.

I am so glad that we keep the tradition of carving pumpkins even if we are crazy busy. Lately we save everything for the last second. This year we were able to use the pumpkins that grew in the garden which is really cool. We didn't have huge pumpkins but they worked and each of them were different in their own ways. The costumes were awesome this year too. Blake, Tate, and Gage decided to goof around this year too.

Wrestling

This year Carter decided that he wanted to try wrestling for the first time. He is doing great and winning a bunch in his weight group.  I don't like how he is always watching his weight and not eating much so he can weight in with the right weight.  Every weekend we are at wrestling tournaments. It is a very intensive sport, I have a hard time watching him.  He looks so hard and frustrating when you are not winning. I am so proud of Carter and all that he is accomplishing.

I think I forgot to mention that we are now in band too. Blake is in Symphonic Bank this year playing the french horn again. There are only 3 french horns in the band and I didn't think that was to bad considering how small they are.
